ESTATE HISTORY
When they returned from the Second World War, Marguerite and Jean Kappler realized their dreams of cultivating vines and making their own wine. Over time, the farm grew slowly but surely. In 1956, they gave birth to Jean-Pierre. The new generation is then present. After studying at the agricultural school, Jean-Pierre did internships mainly in the Alsatian and Champagne vineyards where he discovered the traditional method of making sparkling wines.
It was in the 1970s that Jean-Pierre succeeded Jean.
From the union of Véronique and Jean-Pierre, in the 80s, was born the future third generation. Guillaume in 1987 and Geoffroy in 1993.
Jean-Pierre, for his part, has been retired since October 2018 but still keeps a very close eye on the work of his two sons.
TERROIR
The estate now covers 13 hectares and 100% of the production is vinified and bottled on the estate.

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS
Pinot Gris is the wine par excellence for great food and wine pairings. It is totally given only accompanied by a beautiful kitchen or simply with friends.The color is golden yellow with a few touches of pink. Its large jamb gives it a tighter and voluptuous disc. Varietal aromas of Pinot Gris, potpourri of rose petals, blond tobacco.
This Pinot Gris which is of gastronomic type with a moderate sweetness. On the end of the mouth we can perceive notes of quince jelly that make the wine very pleasant.
