For nearly a century, the Brotte family has been guided by a spirit of innovation. With expert wine making experience in three top appellations, (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cairanne and Laudun Village) Maison Brotte has extended their know-how to create exceptional wines in all the major regions of the Rhône valley. Backed by a team of eight wine professionals, including two enologists and three viticulturalists, Maison Brotte produces three separate estate wines: Domaine Barville, Domaine Grosset, & Chateau de Bord.

TERROIR

“Fruity, Round, & Fresh” Brotte uses their Châteneuf-du-Pape know-how to make this prestigious, organic Côtes du Rhone. Sourced from parcels of very rocky, sandy-clay (pebbles and limestone) around the town of Sainte-Cécile-Les-Vignes, the grapes destined for VIRIDI flourish here, giving excellent structure to the wine.

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS

Made from a majority of Grenache, harvested earlier than conventional grapes, it offers fresh fruit with notes of strawberry jam, flowers and licorice. Matured for 12 months in vats, it shows fine suppleness. Enjoy with grilled chicken & salads, or as an aperitif.
