ESTATE HISTORY

Created in 1929, the Cave des Grands Crus Blancs first sealed the union of winegrowers from two neighbouring villages: Vinzelles and Loché. The mutualisation approach has enabled these winegrowers to combine their talents and know-how to produce prestigious Burgundy and Beaujolais vintages. Naturally, today this union brings together many other winegrowers from renowned surrounding villages.

TERROIR

This communal appellation, covering 52 hectares of the Mâconnais vineyards was delimited in 1931 and recognised in 1940. The soils are predominantly clay-limestone with a ferruginous colour.

VITICULTURE

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS

Colour: Intense pale gold with golden reflections.
Nose: Intense with fruity notes (citrus, peach and pear) and
white flowers (acacia and lime).
Taste: Powerful and fleshy; this wine presents a very nice balance due to its aromatic finesse and roundness.

Food-wine pairings: Goes very well with pan-fried seafood dishes. From 3 to 5 years of bottles, it
highlights poultry fillets with morels and white meats. On the cheese side, a good marriage with our dry goat cheeses.

Ageing: 5 to 10 years
Serve between: 10 and 12°C
