ESTATE HISTORY

Founded in 1967, Cave de Roquebrun is located in Haut-Languedoc Natural Regional Park approximately 30 km north of Béziers, between Montpellier and Toulouse. 

TERROIR

Situated in the village of Roquebrun, the exceptional, sunny Mediterranean micro-climate combined with the schist terroir typical of Languedoc allows for the production of high quality and original wines with a sense of place.

VITICULTURE

HVE Certified (Haute Valeur Environnementale)

Rigorous specifications regulate pruning methods, trellising, phytosanitary treatments and yields.
A large part of the vineyard is irrigated by drip in regulated periods following water readings, which makes it possible to control the evolution of the plant and to respect its evolution.

WINEMAKING

Carbonic maceration and classical vinification (destemmed crop). 
Aging in stainless steel vats in an insulated and air-conditioned.

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS

Classic savoury characters of the southern Languedoc region come through in this well-balanced bistro red. Plum, dark chocolate, lavender, blueberry and cracked pepper mingle beautifully. Pairs well with duck confit, lamb shanks, smoked gouda and spicy grilled sausages.
