The few remaining woods are scattered in the heart of this vineyard, which lies on a bed of red clay and a multitude of large rolled pebbles that sink into the ground up to ten metres deep. In the Middle Ages, the crossing of this vast forest of the garrigue, at the mercy of rogues, was worth giving your soul to God. It is probably to this legend that the Plan de Dieu owes Its name. since then. the vine has colonised this territory.
