ESTATE HISTORY

Established in Puligny-Montrachet since 1859, Domaine Jean Chartron has the privilege of cultivating some of the most prestigious parcels in Burgundy.

VITICULTURE

The vines have an average age of 40 years.
Organic and biodynamic farming practices. 

All operations are carried out in the purest respect of traditions, based as much as possible on the astral movements and the lunar calendar.

WINEMAKING

100% Barrel fermentation (20% new oak barrels / 80% barrels aged 1 and up to 5 years). Maturing on fine lees for 10 months in barrel and 4 months in tank.

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS

An intense, golden colour haunts the eye. An imposing scent of aniseed gently assaults the nose. Creamy and mouth-coating, this wine’s body is complex and full. The pleasure is there at the first taste.
