ESTATE HISTORY

The Domaines Bunan is a family history that goes back three generations. In 1961, Paul and Pierre Bunan started the winemaking in the Bandol appellation.

Yield 30 hl per hectare

WINEMAKING

Long maceration in tapered wooden vats.
We do traditional aging in tuns and barrels depending on the vintage.

18 months in lightning

TASTING & FOOD PAIRINGS

The deep ruby red color, the intense nose, with spicy tendencies and scents of truffles and undergrowth.
Well-structured, powerful, unctuous palate, elegant and fine tannins.
The aromas blend into nuances of blackberry, blackcurrant, liquorice and pepper.

Decant before tasting at around 18°C.
A long-keeping Bandol accompanies game, marinated meats, spicy dishes, lamb and cheeses.
